Marina del Faro was founded in 1968 – at the beginning of the boating nautical boating, when from Trieste onwards there was only a few, although emblazoned, nautical clubs and only a couple of Navies – by a group of friends and companions of inclined regattas more to the development of sailing than to entrepreneurship.
